
Unit Description
The Dermatology Department provides out-patient consultations that include investigations and treatment of a broad spectrum of dermatological conditions. Patients are seen by a referral system, appointment basis and as walk in. The number of patient visits range between 1100- 1300 per month.

7:30am - 4:30pm
On-call services: 24 hours a day 7 days a week

To excel in three areas: the care of patients with skin disease using evidence-based medicine; the education of dermatology residents, medical students, and residents from other departments; and the advancement of knowledge pertaining to the skin and skin disease.
Provision of all Dermatology services including diagnosis, management and prevention.
These services encompass: General Dermatology, Pediatric Dermatology, Phototherapy, Dermatological Surgery, Procedure and Laser, and Diagnostic for Contract Dermatitis. The diagnostic and therapeutic services will be of the highest standards using Evidence Based approach at all times.
An important aspect of the service to be provided will include training the medical staff and other specialties members like Family Medicine to be familiar with primary skin disease. Essential aspect of the scope of service include: Health education to the patients, Patient-centered approach and Patient safety and satisfaction orientation
